CLIENT: CREO MAGIC
The CreoHub is an AD-Hoc Networking wearable radio. Built to create robustly, self-healing and self-forming reliable networks anywhere, which makes the CreoHub ideal for use in surveillance, swarm intelligent applications and last-mile edge networks.
The CreoHub enables the transmission of real-time video, voice and data exchange for mission and safety-critical applications - giving Common Operating Picture and total team awareness in any situation.
Using wired or wireless integration to smartphones or tablets, allows them to communicate without any permanent infrastructure.
At first, were developed three main concepts in 1:1 size for existing technology.
Then, we wanted to achieve the style and the main character lines to guide us through a future line of products. It was needed to consider in existing parts such as PCB boards and in shelf products such as battery and antenna.
The chosen prototype was built in 3D, CAD software including all the brackets, inner parts, in order to check the ergonomy, the way it feels to hold it and practicability of assembly.
Prototype printing when it is fully assembled - when it can be check if all the parts can be assembled and fitt to each other. This way we learn and redesign if needed. From this point, we preper it to CNC and from there to fully function prototype
